The Red & Black Cafe
is a collectively managed, worker-owned cooperative that is also a 100% vegan restaurant. We serve organic, fair trade coffee and teas, local beer and use locally sourced organic ingredients whenever
possible. Probably most famous for our Black Dragon Noodles, we also serve an array of sandwiches, salads, soup and chili and have an assortment of wheat-free and soy-free options. In addition to serving food and drink, we also use our space to act in solidarity with social and political movements that reflect our values. This can range from animal rights events to benefits for worker rights organizations, and from radical music shows to queer movie night. Beyond that, we compost, ride bikes to work, pick up supplies with our trusty bike trailer, and we just decided to be a closed union shop and all join the IWW! Stop in at 400 SE 12th Ave. We're conveniently located on the other side of the block from the vegan mini mall.
